We wake up "early" in the morning. The staff that prepares breakfast at the villa go home at 10am and they have to serve breakfast before that.

The breakfast consists of fruit, a natural juice, crepes and bread with mermelada. It all very delicious but we, the family, are used to cereals and not having cereals one day it's okey but.... a whole week? Note: buy cereals

After breakfast we are curious of how the beach in front of the house really looks like. So, we go with the security guard to the beach (Zanzibar is not dangerous is just for you to feel save in a foreign country). The beach is just amazing and we can tell the tide is low because in order for us to reach the water we need to walk and walk.

Native people are already working. They are repairing boats and ropes and other things to go fishing. Just a few steps away we see a starfish and we take pics with it like the tourists we are. Moreover the guide teaches us some new words in suajili:

Jambo = Hola, hi and you have to answer with Jambo

Mambo = how are you and then you answer Boa (I think is "okay")

Asanté = thank you

After this fast excursion we head back to the house, prepare some stuff and hop on the car to go to the north of the island. (1h away from the house).

Thing to worry about on the roads:

- Big holes on the street

- Cars and Cars everywhere

- Drive on your side (UK stile)

- Chicken

- Cows

- Dogs

- Goats

- People with a bicycle or walking

- Kids going back home from school

- Drive fast so that they think you are local! :)

We get to the most amazing beach ever! Nungwi.

The first thing we see are cows, the village and the beach. There, a local approaches us with another star fish! People in Zanzibar are very very nice! We take some other pictures with the star and we start walking to discover the beach.

In the afternoon we go to Baracka natural aquarium to swim with turtles. The thing is that the tide is not high enough so instead, we go to the hotel and sunbathe in the swimming pool.

Around five pm we go to swim with the turtles. The water was... a bit dirty but the were millions of turtles!
